Explore the events!
Here you will find an overview of all the events, showing the name, location, date and entrepreneur (organiser) of each pas d’armes. You can click and select an event to obtain further information, including all the celebrations and noteworthy incidents associated with the event, the pre-event formalities, the types of combat and weapons, the known material infrastructure, the nature of the audience and all the persons involved in that particular pas. You will also have an overview of the main primary sources relating to the event, either published or in manuscript and/or archival form. To search the database from a drop-down menu, click on the red ‘Search Database’ button.
